monopoly polygamy

In a country where polygamy is legal (conditions attached), It is weird that people still prefer monopoly. Wait a minute, that is two different thing. Maybe, maybe not.

Media Prima Berhad is having a (legal) polygamous relationship with 4 TV news presenters channels, namely, TV3, NTV7, 8TV, and Channel 9 (defunct).

Media Prima Berhad is basically an UMNO company, they not only own the 4 free to view TV channels, but as well as NSTP, The Malay Mail, Berita Harian and Harian Metro. Read the MalaysiaKini news for more information.

Recently in Thailand, the media community make a lot of noise regarding an attempt to take over a media company by the Taksin’s party. Finally, the party have to back down due to the protest from all corners. The media community worries that once the political parties start taking over the media, there will be no end to it. Which is what is happening has happened in Malaysia.

Forget the idiot box. Get yourself a broadband start cyber-dissenting. Noise on the blogsphere: (to be updated, lost the links. haha)

Is this true? It seems to good to be true in a land of monopoly polygamy. [...]
