Blessed Christmas!

you are fired! ERF to the rescue not

As I was driving to work on Friday (22 Dec) morning, I happened to tune in to the radio (Light n Easy). And there it was the news being pipe through it.
One piece of news caught my attention; Employee’s Retrenchment Funds. Pak Lah’s BN administration is mooting Employee’s Retrenchment Funds which is similar in concept [...]

‘act of God’ but…

Yes, the incessant rain caused the ‘monster floods’. However, the emergency response by emergency services including the military is appalling.
Pak Lah finally woke up from his slumber and went on some helicopter joy ride around Johor. Good for him, but the heli could have been used in rescue operations.

charge ‘rescue for money’ with attempted murder

I urge the Attorney General’s chamber to launch an investigation into ‘pay for rescue’ which happens in Segamat. The AG’s chamber should charge those who were involved in asking payment to rescue the flood victims to be charge with attempt of murder.

wrong, plain wrong

The chinese character for ‘CRISIS’ is a concatenation of two other ‘root’ word; which are ‘danger’ and ‘opportunity’.
The on going flood disaster gave us a ’sneak peek’ into the horror this beloved homeland may face in the near future. And, no I am not talking about the flood waters.
Sivin Kit highlighted an account of his [...]

call for State of Emergency!

I urged the Prime Minister to declare state of emergency and initiate disaster response plan (if there is any).
News article in The Star confirmed what I wrote yesterday.
The town have been without clean water supply for more than 3 days now! People are living on can food, and instant noodles (Which is still a luxury).
Some [...]

pictures of flood in Segamat

Flood pictures from Segamat.

As of now, North part of Segamat district is totally cut off from other surrounding towns. Taps have been dry for 3 days though rain water aplenty. Drinking water (bottled) has been snatched up. Bread sold out, and no new supply can get into Segamat.
There’s talk in the town that the 1st [...]

DAP under cyber-attack

Teresa Kok’s blog and possibly Uncle Kit’s blog is under DoS attack at this moment.
I would like to believe the attacks is co-ordinated and link with each other. Both Teresa’s and Uncle Kit’s is attacked through a similar fashion. Which is overwhelming the DNS server.
