“Semi Vellu” got egged!

carboncopy attended his second (third if included uni protest) public demo and witness Sami Vellu got egged. Well, Sami Vellu’s caricature on a mock toll booth got egged.

What is priceless about the event is it brought smiles to the police officers on duty (guarding the demonstration). I wish I have a camera with me to capture the moment.

carboncopy went with the mindset that will get drenched by chemically laced water fired from FRU’s water canons. Among preparation made was, wearing cheap shoes, have ID, mobile phone and car key (only) in plastic bag inside my pocket.

However, no FRU was present today. Though some of the officers were in the red helmet and a few of them carrying shields. I must congratulate the Police Force for their minimal interference in a peaceful public gathering.

For those who missed voicing out your discontent and disgust of BN’s administrations contempt of public trust and interest today. There’s a bigger opportunity on 7th January, 2007 at 4pm, in front of Sunway Pyramid Shopping Complex. Carboncopy will be there!

Update : As I mentioned about minimal intervention from boys in blue earlier, that was from my perspective on the opposite side of the highway. It seems the boys in blue was itching for action.
