To Badruddin,
You as a Member of Parliament have insulted not just handicapped people of Malaysia. But, every human who has been inflicted with suffering.
I would like to be fair to you, Badruddin, even though to the extent of being unfair to all other humans on earth, and narrow down the scope to, every human who has been created by God who have suffered physical disabilities.
Karpal Singh was involved in a road accident which left him on a wheel chair. You have the audacity to play God Almighty himself to pass down judgement? Or are you the prophet of God Almighty, chosen to bring the truth to humankind, God’s creation?
Sadness in my heart overcomes my anger. Allow me to tell you why.
My grandma slipped into comma grasping my hand. She went to heaven a few hours later that fateful day. She had very very bad arthritis, she was bed bound for years, and totally dependent on us her family.
You Badruddin, are you saying that my grandma received punishment from God for going through the severe physical suffering and being wheel chair bound?
My father suffered from diabetic, he died because of complications from diabetic. He suffered many bouts of hypoglycemia. His organs were starting to take a toll from prolong suffering of diabetics. He wanted to see his youngest child, his daughter, completing her tertiary education, to attend her graduation. But that was not to be. Badruddin, are you saying that my father being a diabetic is a punishment from God?
Badruddin, I have my own physical suffering, I was knocked down by a car while cycling to work. The injury which I sustain warranted one month medical leave. And I am still not fully able. You Badruddin, are you proclaiming God’s punishment on me?
I will not curse you or judge you. As in the Bible, the book of Luke chapter 6 verse 37 says, “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
But you cause me to be greatly saddened, I pray to God that you will never ever be elected to any position of responsibility to the people, for the good of all mankind.
Please reply, and I will post your reply on my blog.
Yours truly,
carboncopy
p.s. for the benefit of my readers who does not know what you Badruddin Member of Parliament for Jerai did, lulu have highlighted it very well from the hansard.
The manner in which Badruddin behaved in public speaks alot about his person, his religious beliefs and his upbringing.
We can only be thankful that we are NOT like him. the rest is upto the Almighty.
I hope you will achieve full recovery from your injuries soon, cc. Didn’t realise that it was that bad. But I can understand that some hurt can be more deep and cutting than the physical. Take care, mf.
