MACC in their first statement after Beng Hock’s death (while late Beng Hock’s body was still lying outside their window) was that Beng Hock was released at 3.45am on July 17, 2009.

Beng Hock’s mobile phone whereabouts can proof or disprove MACC’s claim.

1. Beng Hock’s mobile phone is not on him.

2. Police says the mobile phone is missing.

3. Through out MACC’s custody of Beng Hock, no phone call got through. I.E. no ringing tone. Nobody could reach Beng Hock on the mobile from 6pm July 16, 2009 onwards.

4. Beng Hock’s body was discovered between 1pm – 1.30pm.

5. A reporter manage to get a ringing tone on Beng Hock’s mobile sometime between 3-4pm. Nobody picked up the call.

6. Beng Hock’s mobile phone could no longer be reach. Police claimed it is missing.

It’s known that MACC takes custody of mobile phone through out the interrogation.

So, if Beng Hock’s mobile phone is not on him. That would mean he has not been released by MACC.

MACC can not claimed that the mobile phone is with them still because it will proof that they were lying right from the beginning about releasing Beng Hock at 3.45am.

Where is Beng Hock’s mobile phone, MACC? We know you were having it!

As Malaysia’s 12th General Election is around the corner, there have been a very sharp increase of certain electronic crimes.

I am urging ALL non-BN SOPO bloggers to be on watch out for the following activities:

blog – soft defacing;

blog – compromised database, php and webserver, please update your blog CMS constantly, for those privately hosted blogs.

blog – defacing, such as BERSIH’s website

laptop and computer break-in, keep your Operating System, anti-virus up-to-date, make sure you have firewall.

wifi – please DO NOT use unsecured wifi which seems to appear overnight at where you live.

wifi – please use WPA or WPA2 security, if you need it. Switch wifi off and use wired connection, better still. Use MAC address to limit which computer can connect to your wifi if you need to use wifi.

email – don’t check your email on untrusted or public computer

email – ignore email which seems to be from your email provider asking you to enter your email address and password, report to your email provider, usually at abuse@[email.provider.domain]

email – email address can be easily masquerade nowadays, the email may appear completely legitimate from the person you know, but it can be an impostor. Do your own verification, be on alert. Use PGP or GPG if possible.

facebook – watch out for unknown character which seems to be interested to get info from you about anything, which seems harmless. Check his/her friends, how they know who they know will tell a lot about the character.

Watch out my fellow bloggers, the Cyber-Terrorist have access to Internet infrastructure beyond your dreams.

Lets watch out for each other. Keep the good fight, let us run the good race till the end.

All said and done, I wish Muszaphar a safe trip to ISS and back to earth. And may he use his new found fame for the less fortunate when he come back down to earth.
<quote>space flight fever : “patriotic duty”, carboncopy October 10th, 2007

Malaysian Angkasawan Mej Dr Faiz Khaleed sustained injuries in a robbery after two parang-wielding men attacked him and a friend outside his house in Taman Mawar, Cheras, here early Wednesday.
<quote>Angkasawan hurt in tussle with robbers, The Star, November 22, 2007<quote>

On the 10th October, I wish that Muszaphar will use his new found fame for the less fortunate. I should have wish Faiz as well. Now is the chance for them to stand up and be counted as Malaysians who cares about Malaysians.

Yes I sympathise with what has be fallen on Dr Faiz, and am outraged. But truth be told, crimes such as this happens to a lot other Malaysians everyday. It goes unreported in the BN owned media because it is way too common. And the police will also try their very best to dissuades the victim of crimes from making police report.

After the hundreds of million ringgit spent on the so called space program, Angkasa. When our schools are in sorry state. When they can tell the mission schools that the government have no money to give them to repair the school buildings. When the government can’t afford to provide text book to all students. The least that Dr Faiz and Dr Muszaphar can do now is to highlight the need for IPCMC.

If the government can spring a surprise on us with the amendment of the Federal Constitution of Malaysia. Why can’t Abdullah Badawi legislate IPCMC now. After all, the bill have been drafted by the Royal Commission to Enhance the Operation and Management of the Royal Malaysia Police in May 2005.

I wish Dr Faiz a speedy full recovery. And when he does, I hope he will push for IPCMC.
